Welcome
What To Expect From Me Next
I wanted to give you a clear overview of how things will work from here on in, so you always know what to expect.
How It Works And What Comes Next
Engagement shoot
If an engagement shoot is included in your collection, this applies to you. If not and you would like one, just let me know.
I usually recommend booking it around three to six months before the wedding, though earlier is absolutely fine. These are typically midweek and I am always happy to suggest locations.
Second photographer
If you would like a second photographer and have not already mentioned it, please let me know at least three months before your wedding.
I usually recommend a second photographer for weddings with over one hundred guests or if timings are tight.
Videographers
If you are looking for a videographer, I can recommend people I work well with.
I always suggest choosing someone with a similar, relaxed approach who will not interrupt the natural flow of your day.
The Important Stuff
Around 6 months before I’ll send you a short questionnaire so I can get to know you properly as a couple and understand how you tick, what matters to you, and how you are together, which helps me photograph you in a way that feels completely natural on the day.
Around six weeks before your wedding, I will send over your balance invoice so it is ticked off and out of the way.
Between four and two weeks before the day, you will receive a timeline form. This is really important as it allows me to understand timings, logistics and flow.
As soon as I receive it, I will review everything. If I spot any timing issues, I will flag them straight away. If all looks good, I will arrange a call with you the week before the wedding so we can run through the day, clarify details and make sure we are completely on the same page. This is also when I confirm my start and finish times based on your booking and how the day is running.
On the wedding day, I always arrive around an hour before my official start time. If you see me around early, this is why. It gives me time to set up, warm up creatively and capture venue and detail shots without any rush.
After the wedding, you will receive a sneak peek within a few days. Your full gallery will then be delivered within the timeframe outlined in your contract. I always aim to send it sooner where possible, but during busy periods I use the full editing time to do it properly.
If you have any questions at any point, just shout. I am here to guide you through and keep everything feeling easy.
Where Time Slows
Here’s the truth. Your wedding photographs are not meant to live quietly on a hard drive. They’re meant to be held, revisited, lived with. Printed photographs slow time in the best possible way. Years from now, when life looks different and the details have softened, these images should pull you straight back into how it felt, not just how it looked. The weight of the paper, the turning of pages, the pause you take on certain frames. That emotional hit is everything.

If an album isn’t included in your collection, you can always add one later or even after the wedding itself. Seeing your wedding images printed is genuinely breathtaking. It elevates the work, gives the photographs permanence, and turns your story into something tangible. This is where the images really come alive. Not on a screen. In your hands.
No action needed right now. Just there when you need it.
