3 Acres Tipi Wedding West Yorkshire

I must confess something: I love photographing tipi weddings. So when Bronwyne and Lewis contacted me about their tipi wedding at the 3 Acres in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, I was thrilled. I’m always amazed at how wonderfully unique each tipi wedding is. Tipis are an excellent choice if you enjoy the outdoors and prefer a boho, festival, or whimsical vibe. Bronwyn and Lewis certainly embraced the boho wedding style.

The 3 Acres is well-known among foodies in Yorkshire. It proudly sits on the rolling hills overlooking the famous Emley Moor Mast. The Tipi is located on the grounds of the 3 Acres, providing stunning views for your wedding backdrop. The Cosy County Inn and Restaurant have been here for over 50 years and is run by the Truelove family. It also has excellent accommodation, making it the perfect choice for your wedding.

Whether you’re dreaming of a luxury celebration or a creative, offbeat bash, I’ll capture every delightful detail, ensuring the essence of your day is preserved forever. So, let’s make some unforgettable portraits that tell your love story, one playful click at a time!

West Yorkshire Wedding Photography

We had Sarah as our wedding photographer in September. She made us feel extremely comfortable during the wedding and the pre-shoot. I would highly recommend her. Our photos are amazing, and Sarah captured so many special moments we will never forget.

Bronwyn & Lewis

Photographing The Wedding Morning

Bronwyn was staying over at the 3 Achres in one of their beautiful rooms, so all the gang were together, and they could all enjoy getting ready. I arrived as make-up was in full swing to find the spirits high with a flurry of laughter. The little humans were so excited, and the room was buzzing. Bronwyn’s florals and wedding dress she chose embraced her style and had a boho chic feel so perfectly. Once Browyn and the gang were ready, they headed to the cute church in their home town of Millhouse, close to Penistone. This is also where I live, so having a wedding close to home is fantastic as I usually have a lot more travelling to do. I was buzzing.

Wedding Ceremony & 3 Acres Reception

The intimate ceremony was stunning, and confetti was thrown after we came out from the wedding ceremony. Lewis helped Bron back into their impressive wedding Defender, which they had hired off the fabulous Marshel Vally Defenders. Once they were tucked in, we all went up to the 3 Acres.

Once at the Tipi, the drinks started to flow, and everyone was in a party mood. It was a fabulous atmosphere. Browyne and Lewis brought their two gorgeous dogs, Ted, the cockerpoo and Dotty, the spaniel. Did I mention that I absolutely love it when dogs attend weddings and see their humans get married? It’s so much fun! I always suggest having a designated helper who can take the dogs home if it gets too overwhelming. They can become quite stressed in such lively environments. Just look at these two, though; they loved all the attention and were so happy to be there, and of course, we had to grab the opportunity of a cheeky portrait.

Wedding Day Portraits At The 3 Acres

Imagine this: amidst the joyous chaos of Bronwyn and Lewis’s big day, we steal away for a little slice of magic at 3 Acres. As a Yorkshire wedding photographer, my heart dances at capturing those playful, candid moments that make your love story uniquely yours. Picture Bronwyn twirling in her gorgeous gown, laughter echoing as Lewis twinkles at her with that look of pure adoration. These portraits aren’t just about striking poses; they’re about creating memories that reflect your journey together in the most candid way possible. Let’s not forget that adorable moment when Lewis knelt down to help Bronwyn change into her comfy Converse shoes! With a playful grin, he gently slipped off her stunning heels and laced up her sneakers. Pure gold!
So below is the magic that happened as we explored the stunning landscapes and views at the 3 Arces, also finding that perfect golden hour light that wraps around you like a warm embraces aways looks a little bit EPIC!

Tipi Wedding Party

As twilight embraced the sky, Bronwyn and Lewis’s evening party came alive in the Tipi, transformed into a twinkly wonderland! With a huge glitter ball (who doesn’t love a huge glitter ball….) spinning above, the space sparkled like a disco dream, casting playful reflections everywhere. Rocking her comfy Converse, Bronwyn led the dance floor charge with Lewis. Guests twirled and grooved, the air buzzing with joy and energy, creating unforgettable memories under the twinkling lights.
