So, we all know it has been a rubbish year, for me to be able to write this blog is pretty goddam awesome. WOW! I pinch myself to think we actually got to video & photograph Oli & Laura’s Italian destination wedding back in September at the incredible Castello di Vicarello in the wild Tuscan hills. Castello di Vicarello is a stunning venue, a castle no less, which is surrounded by the Tuscan hills, vineyards, and olive groves. It offers a union with nature and transports you to a Tuscan otherworldliness. The estate provides luxury and boy can they do a wedding!! To walk down an aisle in the middle of an olive grove is just one of its stunning features. It’s a complete fairy tale from start to finish.
Laura and Oli had an incredible day, close family and friends 28 to be exact descended on the castle for a few days of fantastic luxury. Oh, and they said IDOOOOO! Laura knows a thing or two about fashion, working in fashion, and the anticipation and expectation of her dress were well and truly felt. And you are going to get another WOW! It blew the socks off everyone, she looked incredible in her dress. Those shoes just finished it off, so simple, however once on, they stood (literally) stood out!! Blue too, keeping up with a little tradition along the way. I was treated like part of the family, warm and welcoming from the beginning, this made it even more special. To feel like this when you working is a dream, it never feels like I’m actually working. It’s a passion that I’m so lucky to be able to do. So to Oli & Luara, a massive thank you for trusting me to video your incredible wedding day.
I will just finish by saying this, every time I visit Tuscany, It feels like the movie Eat, Pray, Love, except I Eat, Laugh, Shoot! My all-time favorite things to do!! What a fantastic few days getting to do what I love. Roll on next year and cross everything I have in the hope we can all get back to doing what we love to do. Sending lots of love to you all. x
